HexGL is a futuristic anti-gravity racer in full 3D: pilot a hover ship around a neon track at high speed and set the fastest lap.
Built with WebGL, it runs right in your browser with no download. Hit the boost pads, use the air brakes in tight corners and keep your shield up — hitting the walls drains it, and the race ends when it is gone. A classic of browser racing that still looks great.
How to play
- Press Start and choose your settings.
- Accelerate and steer through the corners.
- Use boost pads for extra speed and air brakes for tight turns.
- Finish the laps before your shield runs out.
Controls
- Up arrow: accelerate
- Down arrow: brake
- Left and right arrows: steer
- A or Q / D or E: left and right air brakes
Tips
- Use the air brakes in tight corners instead of slowing down.
- Stay away from the walls to save your shield.
- Learn the track — the boost pads are always in the same places.
