Strategy games reward planning. Warzone 2100 is a real-time strategy classic: build a base, research technology and design your own units. In OpenTTD you connect towns and industries with railways, roads, ships and planes and grow a transport company over the decades. In shapez you build a factory that cuts, rotates, stacks and paints shapes on endless conveyor belts — calm, satisfying and hard to stop. A Dark Room starts with a cold room and a dead fire and slowly turns into something much bigger; it is best played knowing as little as possible.
